San Diego based artist, Caylor Nuth, specializes in acrylic based wildlife portraits inspired by her passion and appreciation for nature and the quiet countryside. In her later career, her work has transitioned to focus on the domestic farm animals and beautiful creatures on which so many of our modern lives continue to depend.  The playful strokes and pop colors of her paintings aim to bring to life the unique soul that these individual beasts possess.

Caylor Nuth received her BA in Art & Education from Colorado State University in Fort Collins and has taught in public schools across Colorado and California. She has worked both full time and freelance with reputable companies such as Amber Sky Illustrators, National Wildlife, International Wildlife and Portal Publications.

Her small home studio is a personal, whimsical space where she enjoys creating her portraits and other pieces of art.  Caylor and her husband, Matt, have enjoyed the simple country atmosphere of Ramona for thirty years where they have raised their three children.
